An Ordinance by The City of Belle Meade to provide for the creation of the office of Building Inspector of The City of Belle Meade and to define the duties and powers of said Building Inspector and to provide that all persons who undertake the construction or alteration of any building or structure of any type within the corporate limits of The City of Belle Meade where the cost of said construction or alteration exceeds the sum of one hundred ($100.00) dollars shall first obtain a building permit before proceeding with said construction or alteration: to provide that the City Manager of The City of Belle Meade shall serve as Building Inspector; and to provide penalties for the violation of this ordinance.
