The City of Belle Meade has adopted a Zoning Code that covers a multitude of issues concerning residential building and use of property. The City employs a professional urban planner who enforces the code and administers approval processes for those residents whose building plans comply with the restrictions set forth in the Zoning Code. Before beginning any building project, including interior renovations, please call the City’s Planning Department. The Planning Director or Building Official will assist the homeowner and/or the architect with compliance on any building or remodeling projects.
THE CITY OF BELLE MEADE WILL NOW BE ACCEPTING BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS AND MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION APPLICATIONS THROUGH OUR NEW CIVCGOV CITIZEN PORTAL. Please use the button below to first register as a user in the Citizen Portal and then to apply for the “planning and zoning” permit. Ensure that you complete all required information.
